Farm Dust Seasoning

This seasoning surprised me.  I didn’t think anything could ever take the place of Ms. Pattis (buy here) or visit the Patti’s 1880 Settlement here.. or my Garlic Salt & Pepper from Beachys.. If you ever get a chance to go to Patti’s in Grand Rivers, KY, be sure to get their 2″ pork chop or Michaels Shrimp.  And don’t skip on the flower pot bread with strawberry butter.. It’s a family favorite.  Farm Dust is coming in at close second right now (buy here) in my seasoning choices… I alternative it depending on my mood.  I’m posting a recipe later today that uses this yummy seasoning, so I thought I would post a picture of the seasoning now as I prepare my post.

I don’t cook more than a hand full of recipes that don’t use these two spices..  If there is anything special about the way I cook, it’s definitely these two spices!

Even spaghetti… When I brown the meat, I use both of these!  These two seasonings do the trick.  We don’t even keep salt and pepper on the table.

The first is Patti’s seasoning.  You can buy it here.  It’s only $7.79 and it last for quite a long time!

The second is Beachy’s Garlic Salt & Pepper.

You can’t purchase anything online.  The store is located in Arthur.  I bet you could sweet talk my mom into picking some up for you! 🙂
